supports the hypothesis that aSAH patients with cardiac dysfunction have a higher
risk of DCI. In Chapter 6 we describe a histopathological study of myocardium of 1 patients who died from aSAH. Finally, Chapter 7 summarizes the findings of this
thesis, places it into the context of current knowledge and literature and suggests
direction of further research.
